I have been trying to upgrade my equipment but still cannot find a ball as good as my old IQ Tour. This ball has bailed me out 3 times in the last week. I have been struggling using my new stuff for 1st 2 games lately. Every time I dig myself a hole I pull out the IQ and the lanes become easy. I need to be less stubborn and just start with the IQ. The ball has many many games on it and is still my most reliable ball. Currently have a Scandal, Scandal pearl,IQ Tour , Xtreme Heat and Ride. I have bought 3 balls the last month and none of them are as good as the IQ Tour. Beginning to think I should just buy a new IQ Tour and sell the new stuff. Amazing to me how good this ball rolls. It gives me miss room right and left where the new stuff does neither. I was just wondering if anybody else feels like me. The R2S along with the C 3 control core are hard to beat.

My Tour does allow me to move in and still carry the 10's better then any of my new stuff. Ball never hooks early for me. Seems to always find a way to hit the pocket no matter what the shot. My other stuff seems to grab at my feet or go too long. Going to play with the surfaces on my new stuff to try and make them closer to my IQ. Just amazes me how versatile the IQ is. Ball has 4 years plus of games on it and somehow it still is the best ball I own. Has me thinking of getting another one soon. I keep trying to retire it but ball will not allow me too. I am now going to start with it and either go up or down as needed. Scandal and Scandal Pearl if more hook needed or polished Xtreme Heat or Ride if less hook needed.

My Tour was great until it cracked all the way around the ball.  Only buy Motiv now, because I have never had one crack over the history of ten balls.

On medium oil my Venom Shock (pin Down) reminds me of my pin down Tour.  Control piece.  Although, I found them similar the Tour could handle more oil than the Shock.

Both Scandals drilled pin up. Don't get me wrong both Scandals work well. I was just saying no ball I have ever owned creates more miss room right or left then the IQ Tour. The Scandals and my Xtreme Heat are very touchy to me. Changing up my order and going to start with the IQ Tour. Always ball up to the Scandals or down to my pin down polished xtreme heat. I have been starting with the new stuff and finishing with the Tour. Problem is my last game with tour has been 250+ last couple weeks of bowling. Sometimes new doesn't mean better.

Lower differential is your friend.
