Core and coverstock are bother different but it was ALLEGEDLY designed in a manner so as to replicate the original Firestorm reaction.

i remember the  FStorm and man it was a ball And a half, and i like the fired up a ton. this Is really close to it actually, core doesn't look Similar but i am sure the reaction dynamics are close to it.

Its a modern day remake I guess you could call it?

ITs a different coverstock and core to better match todays slicker oils and harder lane surfaces. But looks wise its pretty close to the original but I think a better version also as Storm has grown as a company and learned alot along the way that allows them to make better equipment.

Hmmm.... I still have a firestorm in great shape. However, just might have to get me a fired up!

Well, the Fire Power was supposed to have been a kinda sorta remake of the Fire Storm...but it fell just a tad short.
