The question "Which coverstock is the most durable?" has been asked for quite a number of times and the most frequent responses are Soaker, Activator, Powerkoil 18, etc.
But I've never seen someone answer with a Storm coverstock.
I've been playing with Dyno-Thane equipments and am very satisfied with the durability of the Soaker. Now I'm thinking about getting a Fired Up for medium oil conditions but am still a bit unsure coz I'm afraid that the Reactor coverstock may die out quite soon (when compared to the Soaker).
The Reactor is definitely strong in the backend but this is not I concern most. Durability is. Could anyone give me some idea on this issue?
Thanks!

The Reactor is very durable but the EOX I think is even more durable than Reactor. I have heard problems about cracking and such but have never seen any from our area or out of our shop. But as far as tracking durability its very good also. But I think the Reactor covers are more versatile on the cores they have put them on so far. Would love to see the EOX on a more symetrical core and see how it is.

I have a diablo, super sport pearl, and fired up with a ton of games on all of them and besides normal track wear from bowling on old wood lanes, very small loss of reaction (and i think the fired up is stronger on the backend now then when i got it).

I believe that the most durable coverstock for Storm right now, and ever, would have to be the Reactor pearl and solid. First off they are made from good materials, they react well, the coverstocks are well over 2 inches thick (unline others which are 1/2 inch thick) and by god they just work very well.
