Spit Fire Versus Fired up? Help.
« on: February 01, 2007, 01:38:15 AM »
I currenlty roll a hot rod pro stock, and pro stock pearl.  Both balls are about shot and I was looking into getting a new reactive and spare ball.  For the reactive I was looking at the two listed in the title.  I like storm balls and have had good experiences with them in the past.  I checked storms website and they had these two listed for me with matchmaker.  Could someone tell me whcih ball would be more effective for me.  I'm a tweener, 17 to 19 mph, high revs, high axis.  Lanes are light to medium depending on the night.  Please give me some advice on which to buy.  Also, anyone know of a good cheap spare ball to buy.  I've seen some of the team storm balls, do they react at all?  I've never had a spare ball, and I need to get this one to pic up ten pins mostly.  It seems to be the only pin I have trouble hitting.  Thanks in advance.  Kyle

One thing I would say is try going to the pro shop and talk to them about it.  That matchmaker thing is a little funky and will always tell me to get a T-Road Pearl no matter what the condition.

I thought the pyro was a more reactive ball than the other two.  Am i incorrect?  Base off of using the hot rods could you guys give me an idea which of the three would suit me better?  I have a hard time getting to the pro shop cause I don't have one at my alley and the nearest closes before I get off work.  I usually have to take off early from work to get my ball drilled.  Are there any other balls that I should look at?
