Storm vs Ebonite

1. Which Storm ball matches up to the Ebonite V2 Pearl?

2. Which Storm ball matches up to the new Ebonite V2 Sweet?

The V2 Pearl was probably closest to the Eraser (Eraser Particle Pearl too), and the V2 Sweet would probably be the Depth Charge.

Why would you want to know or care?
If you like the V2 Stuff just drill V2's. If you are on staff then I can understand looking for a similiar reaction but this time of year there are few signings to staff So I will stick with my first assesment. Not to mention the V2 Sweet is a newer release.

BUT however if you are looking for a couple great balls look at the Hot Rod Pro Stock, and the Recharge.

Two reasons:
1. My V2 Pearl has been plugged several times changing my span, it is old and cracking and new ones are no longer available.

2. I want to try a Storm ball to replace the V2 Pearl.

The V2 Pearl is the re-release of the old Ebonite Nitro R2 Pearl (Purple one). You can possibly find one out there. What weight are you looking for? I have a friend that has 2 of them.

The V2 Pearl was my alltime favorite ball before switching to Storm.  I have found the closest comparable ball is the Power Charge.  Its a reactive pearl with a low Rg similar to the V2 Pearl.  I haven't seen a V2 Sweet but from what I've read it is a polished solid.  A polished Super Charge would probably be equivilent.  As for the Depth Charge it is a particle pearl and doesn't have a reaction like any of the V2's I used.  They're all awesome balls imho.

They have only one and it is a 1" Pin and also only a 14 lbs. I checked on before I ordered the V2 Sweet.
