Is this T-Road any good?
« on: August 28, 2011, 12:41:45 PM »
I was given a T-Road pearl for free and it is really in good condition. My greatest concern is some of the lettering is gone and some of it isn't, does this mean it has been resurfaced out of round or has major flat spots. Is there an easy way to determine this and if it is, does that make this ball worthless? I know it hasn't been used for several years but what do you think? I guess my concern would be my track area.....right?

Many of the Storm labels are not very deep, so it has probably been resurfaced a time or two. I wouldn't worry a bit. You don't need a label at all.  Just use the ball on medium to lighter oil and you will like it.

I used to have one and the lettering started to come off quickly, even though the ball had only been resurfaced a handful of times.  It made no difference in reaction.

It's a great ball -- enjoy it!

Thanks guys, both of you were right. Took the ball to my pro shop and he checked it and said it's fine and has a lot of life left in it. He also said some of the Storm balls have a very thin coverstock but this one is OK. Thanks
