quick question...
« on: October 17, 2007, 10:51:40 AM »
if i polish my vertigo and take the grit up to 1500, will it have snap? it's drilled rev leverage right now.

i throw about 16.5 mph with plenty of revs.

ps-when polished, will it retain the scent?

all help appreciated.

It should retain the sent, but if you are trying to really get that ball to snap your better bet would to be go higher grit maybe 4000 polished would be a better bet. If you go to 1500 poished it will retain more energy then it was at I want to say 800 sanded I think that is what it comes out of the box. It should make a sharper break off the point but, really hard to say with the ball and how you have it set up, I want to say that at the state it is now it revs up and is just a very smooth ball over the whole lane. I hope this helps

No "snap" since that is not what that ball was designed to do. UNLESS the dry is squeeky clean!
