Jolt Pearl

I needed a ball for drier conditions. Found a NIB Jolt Pearl for about $80 with free shipping. Was just wondering what those of you who have used this ball thought about it. Most of the reviews I've read seemed to think the ball was underated and worked well on drier conditions.

Hi John, from what I have heard from people who have used the jolt pearl is that it does go longer than the jolt solid which is obvious and the jolt pearl does have somewhat of a snappy backend, still depends on drill and surface prep.

Are you wanting to play further outside on the lane or play deeper?

Very nice ball much smoother than the
Street Rod Pearl use mine all the time.

The backends at my friday night house are really breaking. I was told they strip them every time they oil. Been using either a Paradigm at 1500 polished or a orig X Factor 4000 abralon with ebonite extender. The Paradigm covers a couple of more boards but the X breaks a little harder. Both are close so I want something that hooks a little less but will still carry.Being a stroker I prefer a more predictable arcing shot instead of a snap. Figured for the price I had nothing to lose.

Well received my Jolt Pearl. 4.5" pin and 3.5 top weight. Had it drilled with pin over the bridge with the cg in the center of the grip. This put the mb just left (lefty) of the thumb. The ball was much stronger than I expected. Only about 2 boards weaker than my Paradigm. Switched over to it late in the second game when the Paradigm became to strong. Shot 233 with it the third game. Hit it with some Ebonite delayed reaction today to tame it down a little.Was really suprised how strong it was and how well it carried.
