Need Help in Picking a New Ball
« on: April 05, 2011, 02:24:38 AM »
I currently bowl two nights a week on leagues and average anywhere from 200-220. The only ball I've been throwing for the past 3-4 years is my Brunswick Absolute Inferno, which I absolutely love. It's a very smooth rolling even arc ball. The oil patterns for both leagues are THS with medium units of oil.

I'm left handed, with medium speed, and medium rev rate.  I typically stand around 20-25 board and throw over 8-12 board.  I haven't really been paying much attention to what's out in the market these days.  I'm looking for a ball that will give me a different look, such as one that will give me some more length with a stronger backend reaction.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

since you asked on the storm board iwill give you8 a storm ball.  the anarchy is the best and strongest pearl i have thrown ever, and i have been bowling for 35 years.

With your stats, and the fact that we are talking Storm, you really need to look at the Victory Road.  That ball is long and strong and even lighter on the wallet than the Anarchy.  The Anarchy is a good ball but that Victory Road is getting really popular.

Reign Supreme. Very versatile ball on a THS. I subbed as a pacer last night for my grandfathers team and purposely threw a different line for each game since my scores didn't count for anything and shot 680 (two stone 8's in game two that robbed me of a 300). I think I'm going to buy another one to put in the closet for down the road :)
