Shift - Initial Impressions
« on: February 24, 2007, 10:18:30 PM »
I was a little leery drilling up this one because I have been steering away from skid flip reactions lately, but I wanted something with a little more backend pop than my Special Agent. Well, I got that in spades. To say this ball is strong at the end would be like saying water is wet. Ball is drilled with Storms #2 drilling: Pin just above and next to ring, cg at 45 degrees and mb right of thumb
Best way to describe it so far is that it is pretty similar to my Special in the fronts, a little cleaner through the mids, and about 5-7 boards stronger off the spot that the Special. Very pleased that the particle pearl cover does not give it a true skid/flip look. Much more of a skid/hard arc (REAL hard). I think this will be a somewhat condition specific ball for me due to my slightly slower ball speed, but I will update as I use it on more conditions, especially the US Open. I think this will be a great ball on THS and tournament conditions where you may need to open up the lane a bit. Anyone with a Paradigm will love this ball as it seems a bit smoother in the mid lane and stronger through the pins.  Another winner from Storm!

If you blame the lane conditions for your bad scores, then you had better thank them for your good ones!!
