How different are these two? I've been contemplating this one since I love the Ride but I want to use one of my favorite layouts instead of the short pin to PAP. I've noticed the specs are relatively close but I also know the weight blocks are shaped differentlym I guess the main question here is how different the Cruiser core is from the 3 piece used in the Tropical Storm?

Wow no answers?

If it helps any, The Tropical Storm was flippier than the current Tropical Breeze due to the nature of the Storm's core. The Breeze's core helped control some of the strong backend of the original Tropical. I suppose the new core was also easier to produce.

ive seen both and to be honest i dont see a whole lot of difference between them if it were me i would go the tropical route ive had a few of the tropicals over the years and loved them. however the only thing between the joy ride and the tropical is the core and,i dont think the core is gonna make that much noticeable difference in this situation if they were drilled identical.

I recently replaced from my old Tropical Breeze Hybrid with a Joy Ride. Both ball are relatively close in overall strength. The Breeze gives a more even reaction, and the Joy Ride give more length with a bit more pop off the back end.
