Thank you, tommy, but to be honest, I haven't yet observed an IQs. I got this from one professional review and from a friend telling about his IQ's ball reaction, especially after he polished it.
I think you can influence the IQ's ball reaction towards that of the old VG, by drilling and by surface, while still allowing it to handle a good deal of oil.
Also remember, just by putting 3 holes for the fingers in a symmetric core, you alter it to become asymmetric by anywhere from a little to a lot, depending on the size and location of the holes. Adding a weight hole makes an even more significant effect on the core and thus, the ball reaction.
