Looking at Storm

I need to purchase a new ball to replace my TPC Warrior and decided to look at Storm products.  I'm a once a week league bowler (maybe two nights but haven't told wife yet).  I'm not into throwing the ball across every board.  I would prefer to play down and in and make adjustments using same ball instead of just pulling a different ball out of the bag.  Playing conditions is usually medium-light oil.  I haven't kept up with all the ever changing technology of bowling balls, so looking for a little help.  I've done some research myself and have come up with the Screamin Banshee, Hot Rod Pro Stock Pearl, and Hybrid.

Any help/ideas are appreciated.

Given that you don't have a lot of speed in your game and you like to play around the track area I would say that the HR-Pro Stock Pearl would be a great choice for you.  If you want to move into the oil a little bit more than you are now...only then would I look at the Banshee.

As always talk this over with your local driller as they can watch you bowl and look at your current balls drilling, etc.

The Hybrid & Pro stock are VERY CLOSE in my opinion. I have both and they are not drilled the same but tehy are close in reaction.  Hybrid a bit earlier than the Pro Stock on same target line.

Thanks again for all the advice to my first question.  I know have two more.  I was speaking to my dad yesterday who still bowls a couple of nights a week and in a Saturday travel league and he mentioned he had an undrilled Target Zone I could have for spare shooting.  I always just used my Warrior for spare shooting, but being that I want to start getting in some tournaments and maybe find a sport league next summer it's probably best to practice shooting straight at spares.  Would the Target Zone and Hot Rod Pro Stock Pearl be to close of the same ball?  If so, would the combination of either Eraser or Screamin Banshee and Target Zone be better.  My preference is to play down and in, but I don't have a problem moving left if I have to.

I already know that the Target Zone is plastic, used for dry conditions and spares, and I never compared it to the Banshee. My question was what would be the better combination of the two based on the info supplied, the Hot Rod/Target Zone or Banshee/Target Zone.

I'd stick to the Banshee Line, Hot Rod Pro Stock Pearl, maybe, but as long as you are on med oil, I'd suggest a Banshee

personally I liked my Warrior because it rolled down the lane without over skidding and still had good backend.  I polished by new Nitro/R2 and it gave a a similar reaction.
I think the Storm balls are usually too skid/flippy
