I have just drilled the SRP and see it being smooth like the Pyro. The Pyro was one of those balls that seemed like when it was right, everyone in the building using one was striking with it.
What I see of the SRP is a ball you can stay close to the friction with. It fooled me a couple of times into swinging it across the lane and watching it go splat into the pindeck leaving some very weak tens and a puffy 8-10. When I went back parallel to the friction, I blew racks pretty easily.
