lbss831 makes a good point here with not limiting yourself based on how a ball rolls or any of the hype. My own take on this is that I think the Lock and original Paradox are more of the closer comparison based on the core, cover type, and overall intention of what the ball is going to do. I didn't purchase a Lock but know a few that are rolling it and love it. I also know 1 person that hated it. Same with the Paradox- I really like what mine has done, some don't like theirs.
In the end, it really does come down to preference and what will work best for your game. An option is that you could always go to a Storm/Roto matchmaker event to try it first hand before buying. Or, you could always buy a single drill and that way you're not having to shell out the full cost for the ball NIB. I'd also suggest the same with the EBI Demo Day, where you can try the Warrior Elite, Paradox, and other similar balls as well. But finally, talk with your PSO as they should know your game and they can always provide feedback on a possible purchase.
