Looking for tacky black tape
« on: March 07, 2016, 07:54:05 AM »
I ran out of my very old black bowling tape. I bought some new stuff but it is so slippery I am really squeezing the ball. I tried white but do not like it. I wish I new what brand my old stuff was. It is the perfect texture for me. Any ideas who makes the tacky black tape? I am actually taking my old black tape out of my older balls just so I can use it. I like it that much. If I can find the tacky black tape I will buy enough to last me a long time.   Thanks.

I have used Vise TA- 2B thumb hole tape it works well has a texture to it for a better grip. I use a drop of glue on tape to keep it in place.

I've used Turbo Bio Skin Ultra with some success.  It's not easy getting it in, but it's tacky and stays put.  Just a thought!

RealBowlers Tape Blue is slightly tacky for me.  I love the Silver and Blue tape..
