Need suggestion on how to drill a Virtual Gravity.

Just bought a used VG, plugged. Not sure how to drill it. Unfortunatley I dont know my PAP...so looking for a "safe" way to drill.
Ball has a 3" pin..top not known.
About me, stroker, med revs about 275 I would guess, med/slow speed.
Would like to get decent length, (due to slowish speed) with an arcing controlable backend reaction.

Greetings...

Without knowing specifics but knowing what you are looking for in reaction...

Would suggest this...


Pin up means length...I like pin above my bridge for length. Don't be afraid to go higher if needed.  If really are slower than most do not be afraid to put it an inch to an inch an 1/2 above your bridge.

Arcing means you want the Mass Bias out away from your thumb and near your Vertical Axis.  Would say that is you go 3 to 3 1/2 inches right or left of your thumb (right if a righty, left if a lefty) then you should get arc.

Again this is just a general layout but should give you close to what you are looking for.

I have one of these. I am a slow speed stroker, between 15-16 mph. Med revs.
 
The surface change you put on this ball makes all the difference in the world. Dullish makes this ball an oil monster. Shiny allows you more versatility, but, how you drill it will ultimately determine when you can use it successfully.

I have seen people use this ball sucessfully shined up, on medium conditions, but most of those people throw around 17mph, or higher.

I drilled mine Rico, and can safely use it on all conditions.The only aspect that I change on oily conditions is the surface. This drilling gives me a controlled arc......in the back part of the lane.

Jesse... Im a high tracker, is this drill likley to clip any holes for me?

if you are worried about clipping just move the pin up an inch above the midline.
