IQ cover

Who else believes that the PFT cover used on the IQ is actually the R3X used on the Invasion?  It's supposed to be stronger than the R2X solid of the Marvel and it has the same color scheme as the Invasion...hmmm...I think they just renamed the coverstock due to some of the bad reviews of the Invasion.  Anyone?

Could be, but we won't know unless we hear from an insider. Most people I have talked to believe the issue with the Invasion was the core/cover match, not necessarily one or the other. Also, for a lot of bowlers, the NRG covers are just too strong. Hopefully PFT or the Lucid cover is on the new Sync.

I heard from a Storm rep a while back. According to him the idea behind the IQ was to get a little bit longer length from a strong, dull cover and have a little bit more recovery from a symmetric core. Balls like the Marvel were rolling too early giving too much of a banana shaped ball path. So, if that is true, I doubt that the IQ's PFT cover is a renamed R3X which is an earlier and stronger type of cover.

Riggs had a picture of his Sync on Facebook earlier and the logo near his grip was the same NRG logo on the Nano's.

He took the picture down shortly after I asked him that question. I don't think that is why, but I think Storm wanted him to throw it first and then post his opinion to his blog before leaking pictures (just a guess).

Hopefully PFT or the Lucid cover is on the new Sync.
