Reign Review
« on: September 19, 2009, 06:50:02 AM »
I have been looking forward to drilling my Reign and was not dissapointed.  I wanted a ball that was stronger than my T-Road pearl so I drilled the Reign with my favorite layout from the T-Road.  The pin is above the fingers with a slight shift of the CG to the right with no extra hole.  Testing was on house patterns on both wood and synthetics.
Best way I can describe this ball is fun.  Very pleasing color and eyecatching enough for bowlers to come from several lanes away to check it out.  This will be the ball I go to to open up the lane.  It is almost a bit too strong on the fresh, but it only gets better as games are thrown.  It gives me the ease throught the front that I saw with my T-Road Pearl but a much sharper move at the breakpoint.  As the heads broke down, I just followed the oil in and threw it to the same spot down the lane.  Even missing in, the ball still recovered where the T-Road would squirt.  With a 4000 touch from an abralon pad I could like this ball even more on the fresh.  I cant wait to drill Reign number 2.
