I don't see Storm taking that out of the lineup for a while.  That ball, just like the Hy-Road and even the Frantic have all matched up very well to a lot of bowlers.

I was hoping storm was going to make a category for balls that sell very well for a long time which would include the following: hy-road, frantic, marvel pearl, virtual gravity

They replaced the Virtual Gravity, which I saw as a bad move. Using a particle ball to replace it was not a good move.
They've been trying to replace/upgrade the Hy-Road for at least 2+ full years and have failed, near as I can tell. Every successor so far is much flippier. While many people have liked some of them, they have never replaced the HR.
It seems like they will be trying to take the same road with the Marvel Pearl. I think they have not learned their lesson yet.

Hy-Road has had many wannabe's. Including the fire road, crossroad, frantic, reign supreme, etc. The funny thing is, none of them are close.

I really haven't seen a whole lot of bowlers using the Marvel Pearl successfully in leagues, but it's clearly been the most successful ball on TV since it was introduced. I mean, nothing else has been close over the past couple of years - not even the Hy-Road!
