Looking at a new heavy oil ball, I need something with more hook but something I can control I've narrowed it down to the Marvel-s or sync but can't decide. I'm not a high speed bowler fastest is about 15. Any suggestions for either of these or maybe something similar?

Thanks for the information I was leaning towards the Marvel-s but I see alot of bowlers at my Lanes use the sync so I wanted a second opinion.

We have a lady in our house throwing about 14 mph with a 14 pound Marvel S.

She is doing very well with this wonderful ball on what is usually a wet dry house shot with pretty wet heads!

When the shot gets wetter she switches to a Virtual Gravity or something with more pop on the back!

PS I thought Pete looked very good with his Marvel S on TV this year also.  Very smooth and strong.

Cannot comment on the Sync, but I have been throwing the Marvel S on a summer league THS.  Struggled with RG Berserk the first 2 games (bowl 4 games, moving lanes after the 2nd game, on a 3 person team) so switched to the Marvel S for the last 2 games. Went 221 (blew a single pin spare) and 264 (open in the 4th frame and left the 4 pin in the 12th).  Motion hole, surface adjustment, 15 1/2 - 16 MPH.  Picked it up at a good price and like where it fits into the rest of my equipment.

As an aside, had the Storm rep there last night and was able to demo the new stuff.  Thought the HR Solid was good, but really liked the motion of the Optimus.  Look forward to getting the ball.
