Here would be the difference in those two balls, lets start with the Marvel.
The Marvel has a low RG and a pretty high Diff, that means this core is more center heavy and that is going to want to roll sooner and flare quite a bit. This combo is going to read the middle of the lane sooner and hook more overall with a smoother path to the pocket. It has a strong coverstock on it to displace the oil on the lane faster, create more friction and start hooking sooner.
The Victory Road Solid has a high RG and high diff, that means the core is more top heavy and going to go longer before it wants to start rolling. This cover is also pretty strong, but not quite as strong as the Marvel. Victory Road Solid will go longer than the Marvel but will change direction on the backend stronger than the Marvel.
It kind of depends on what you're looking for, a smoother arc or a more flippy motion. If you want smooth go Marvel. If you want more backend, go Victory Road. Both would work, its what you prefer to see.
I LOVE my victory road pearl and can't wait for the Solid. Hope this helps!
