I just came across this on youtube.  Looks like Del and Carolyn are putting out a limited release Phaze.  Same core but with R2S pearl cover.  Sounds like it could be good but I wish they used different colors than the original.

This has been out for a while.

Was the original cover that bad of a matchup that they put a trusted cover on it with the same color scheme? I found the original Phaze cover to be a lot weaker than advertised (A little grabby despite high polish) and with the strong revving core, I think it was a bad matchup except for the weaker hand guys that like to stay in the track area. This seems like an interesting ball though.

With the release of the Phaze and the Fight it seemed like the Fight cover would be a monster on the Phaze core, and the Phaze cover on Fight core would be a nice late block control option. The sequels to the Phaze & Fight both look very good though.
