thinking of getting one of these to fill the gap between my recharge and my hit. is this a good fit you think? i found one online but i don't know how aggressive it (the firestorm) is. any suggestions? are the firestorm and the fired up similar? thanks for the help, mike m

Hey. I have not used either the recharge or the hit.
However, I have had Fire Storms in my arsenal since 1995.

considering the age of the ball, it is surprisingly aggressive. It comes in a little stronger than my Brunswick Original Inferno, which is a heavy/medium oil ball. I have asked people before about the fired up, and someone told me it was similar - I personally think the FS is a little stronger.

The Fire Storm was the dry to medium condition ball, the Forest Fire Storm was the medium to oily ball.  Both were excellent balls.
