i dont care what anyone says the passion is an awesome ball. mine is polished and then i put ebonite power sander on it by hand . For short shots with light oil its a monster. I have never really shot it on oil in its oob condition ,when i got it it was polished and i like it so much for med shots that i am scared to scuff it to its oob. I dont regularly see enough oil .Its drilled with the pin above and almost center of bridge. The ball revs up like a jet engine and then flips like hot cakes. If you pull it tight it will hold and open the rack. If the lanes break down it is really friendly on adjustments as it doesnt burn up and still turns the corner. I just shot the front nine with it and then a split in the 10th,Ball speed. It saved me in league last night .
Started with my epic ,but it was burning up do to my slow ball speed and lack of oil, shot 170 something. Picked up the passion and shot 222 with a stupid open in the 10th,shot 203 in the 3rd,to crazy to move left, but it was at least a clean game. 1 open shooting with the passion and 3 with the epic. The epic is a good ball there just wasnt enough oil for it the way i was trying to play.If you are looking for a good no great med to med light ball polish a passion you wont be sorry.
