Wow...I wonder how old that one is...reviews on 123bowling were done in 2002 and 2003! Ziff of only .006 some obvious scorch in that pattern!

PS I had a Blue Hot Pearl That I loved and have now replaced with a blue Hit Pearl. These balls have two or 3 pucK's raising the diff to about .020 and slightly lower RG.  I bet this stronger core would be great and less sensitive to 1 board misses on the tricky Oklahoma open shot if wrapped with urethane.

I remember the Storm Flame line were popular in the late 90's as a low-mid price option. I think I had a teammate in hs that had one and this was like 98 so it's a pretty old ball relatively speaking.

Thanks for the quick replies! With that being said, anyone know if there's anything special with the Mix cover? Heard rumors that it's a polyester-urethane blend. Plus it seems interesting that a pure urethane can shine up like that, making it hard to believe the ball is just urethane. Not saying it isn't though.

99% sure this is old urethane. Storm lists it a "U1S" urethane.
The Supernatural which was listed as "U3S", was definitely a resin/urethane blend.
The Natural was listed as "U2S".

The way the Green Pearl Mix rolls, I'm fairly sure it is old urethane. Usually only the factory can get such a shine on urethane; but mine was manufactured in China, where they have fewer EPA/environmental standards. Remember also that the more a urethane is shined the less it hooks, unlike resin.
