Title: My New T-Road Arsenal (w/ pics)
Post by: tst4eko on March 24, 2008, 06:19:45 PM
Here is an update from my previous topic (http://"http://www.ballreviews.com/Forum/Replies.asp?TopicID=191729&ForumID=13&CategoryID=2"):

**UPDATE**
I had my new arsenal drilled up Monday night. I can't wait to try them out. Here are the specs, with pictures (http://"http://www.putfile.com/album/182521"):

T-Road Solid
15 lbs 4 oz, 2.72 oz TW, 2" pin
Drilled stacked leverage

T-Road Pearl
15 lbs 4 oz, 3.14 oz TW, 3" pin
Drilled stacked leverage

Groove Urethane
15 lbs 1oz, 2.6 oz TW, 1 1/4" pin
Label drill

I received a great deal from my local pro shop operator Tonya Bennett at Extreme Bowling Supply (http://"http://www.myspace.com/extremebowlingsupply"). I paid $420 for all three balls ($170 per T-Road, $80 for Groove), drilling and thumb slugs included.

I hope to have reviews, along with a video soon. Thanks again for everyone's assistance. Let me know what you all think.

Wow those T=Roads are drilled strong !

Your profile says "power tweener" ?

With any revs they will burn out on a THS, esp the solid

I already throw it pretty fast (Around 17.5 mph). This new arsenal is also a drop down from 16 to 15 lbs. The decrease in weight will speed things up a bit more. I had to take that into consideration.

This is also my first attempt to use blank drills on the fingers. I'm tired of changing out my grips often. So far the feel is pretty good, but I've yet to practice with them. I hope to do so tomorrow. I'll try to capture it on video too.

My driller thinks it will be a great arsenal that should cover a wide range of conditions, which is what I was wanting. Only time will tell once I start throwing them.

Thanks for your thoughts.....Stay tuned.

Wow, I hope you see some good head oil to help that T-Road Solid get down the lane!

Yeah I was thinking about getting a T-Road and doing pin over bridge and putting polish on it.  I don't think I could use that ball.  Of course I don't throw it 17+ either so who knows.

Agree, that actually looks like a rev leverage drill that will be very early.
