I have a Virtual Gravity Nano Pear drilled 4x4 stacked leverage. This ball is very strong for a pearl and handles oil quite well. It has length and does not squirt in the oil. I bowl on synthetic lanes with a THS 41 feet with heavier oil 10 to 10 and drier boards right of the second arrow. The Nano Pearl is a beast on this condition, and I am able to play between 11 to 14 at the arrows out to about 8 to 10 at 35 to 40 feet down the lane. The ball flips as soon at it encounters friction, and once it flips it keeps on going right through the pin deck. The ball allows rotationally challenged players to open up the lanes. The ball is so strong that you need to throw it hard and keep up the speed or it hooks too much. For me, it is about 5 to 7 boards stronger than my Anarchy, which is a strong pearl as well. As the lanes break down, all I have to do is chase the oil line and move a bit deeper. This ball has incredible pin carry even from deeper inside. The ball is very strong at the back end and handles carry down quite well. The angle of entry this ball creates on a THS is incredible, which helps to generate the explosive pin action. The only drawback with this ball is that if you get a bit slow with your speed and /or tug the ball inside your spot, you will leave some wicked splits. There is some tug room, but you have to keep up the speed.
Length with strong back end is what this ball is about, and nobody does it better than Storm!
