Nano Pearl and Frantic mini review
« on: September 14, 2011, 12:56:08 PM »
I've had the pleasure of throwing these two balls for a few weeks now. The Nano Pearl is as awesome as its smell. The Frantic is the hidden gem. This has quickly become a favorite of mine.

Nano Pearl Layout: 40 x 4 1/2 x 1/2 buffer

This is the same layout as one of my Nanos. I get about 3 feet more length but still the strong continuation of the VG Nano. With this layout the Nano Pearl is great for me on patterns of 35 feet to 39 feet with medium oil. I actually used it twice this week. The first time was in a tournament on the Boardwalk pattern (35 ft) and then on a Sport League pattern (40 ft). On Boardwalk the ball was great in games 3-4-5 and in league it was best games 1-2.

Frantic Layout: 55 x 4 x 1" buffer - Balance hole 3 1/2 over by 2 1/2 down

I love this ball and layout. It compliments my Nano pearl nicely. It goes about 5 feet farther down the lane than the Nano Pearl with the same strong transition. In comparison to the Hyroad it's about 3 feet longer in length. Much like the 2Fast this will be the hidden gem in the Storm arsenal.

How would you compare the Nano Pearl to the Critical Theroy and the Anarchy?

Thanks,

Paul

Critical Theory is between the Nano Pearl and the Nano. The Anarchy is slightly stronger mid lane than the Nano Pearl.
