Pretty sure none of us really do at this point, we just convince ourselves that we need another look rather than hitting the lanes and filling the holes with our ball roll.  For example....the hole between a Nano and a Nano Pearl is non existent if you can manipulate your ball speed even slightly.  There just isn't that much difference in these balls now to need more than what is out there.

They just took the AZO core and wrapped the NRG coverstock around it.  The comments of the Area Check being a hidden gem have me intrigued.  I'm thinking about a high performance ball for oily conditions, should I wait for this, or get a Nano?

I was able to find the last 15# AZO Area Check on clearance @ www.bowlingindex.com for $96.95.  They had some 16# pills available yet.  Gary, a customer service representative for them, was EXTREMELY helpful with my efforts.

 The Vivid could be my new favorite ball, way cleaner than the Nano in the front and much more down lane. The color is amazing as well.
