Yeah, I knew that, I was just funning with larry m a bit, kind of a little "jab" at him all in fun.

Maybe I should've used a smiley to denote that.

Wonder how this ball with react in comparison to the Thunder Flash?  I had a Thunder Flash Pro and that was the strongest Urethane ball I have EVER seen on the turn.

wow, storm finally read my wish list. i dont see why everyone on here thinks it'll be a dud, it might be a little stronger than you think. with my revs(5oo+ rpms) i've been almost begging storm for something like this for a couple of years. i even sent storm an email soon after visionary came out with the urethane gargoyle asking if this might be an option for them. i think its a great idea, balls are getting stronger and stronger, its nice to see a little throw back piece. heck it might even let me play up 5 once in a while!

I will take one if VBP doesn't get the Urethane Ogre out first.

My prediction - This ball will disappear about as fast as the Double Agent did.

Just cause you couldn't firgure out how to use it or what? Cmon you don't need to hook it to score if you are good bowler

Thank you, Storm! It's about damn time they made a pure urethane ball. Now I can get rid of my Big B Groove Urethane, have an all Storm arsenal, and get an actual core to boot instead of a pancake.

I will be talking to my pro-shop guru to pre-order me one ASAP.

I'm kinda wishing they used the thunder wt. block for a t-flash remake of sorts. I swear my hy-road and t-flash roll alot alike.

Actually this ball makes sense in there line up and its easy for storm to create. There hot rod series is made by global, and they make the urethane angle, so its not a far stretch to get them to take the hot rod core tweak it slightly and use the standard urethane base.

I think this is a great idea.  Im sorry that some people on this site dont think that a ball like this could be good.  This is why the sport in some ways is going backwards in my eyes.  Hook isnt always the answer.  In a typical league night at least where I am from I think about there would be many people who would score better with this than their stronger resin.  I guess most people here dont understand the difference between hook and roll out/burn up!!!

There are many times I wished i had a urethane ball in my arsenal

Second that - good comment. And if you have trouble on burnt lanes or short oil with reactives, urethane is the ticket to stay comfortable. If you never tried one and just moan that it was yesterday's technology - just shut up and fight with your super hooker while you leave splits galore and roll a dead ball. I just wonder how strong the U2S cover actually will be, if it is a true, old-fashioned urethane piece (like Visionary's Slate Blue Gargoyle) or a stronger urethane-resin blend like the Pure Hammer, that yields the typical early and smooth reaction, but has actually pretty much traction and is rather meant for control than true dry lanes. We'll see, I am looking forward to it, anyway, never expected such a ball from Storm!

I'm excited about this too.  I've regretted getting rid of my Thunderflash and have been hoping for another urethane Storm release.  The pancake cores just don't do that great of a job filling the gap, they kind of create another gap imo.
