Need a ball for dry lanes.
« on: December 22, 2004, 05:18:04 AM »
I switched to Storm about a year ago, and I'll be staying here for a long time.  Currently I'm throwing an X-Factor, 15lbs, 3" pin out, 3.25 top weight, drilled 4x4.  Hands down best ball I've ever thrown, EXCEPT, when the lanes are a bit on the dry side.  Then I can't keep it right of the head pin to save my life.  I've have an old Messenger TI Pearl for just this scenario, but it is horribly difficult to control.  Does anyone have some Storm suggestions?

Qui Profile: Cranker, high revs, high speed, moderate Axis Rotation.

Thanks for the suggestions in advance.

I know it's not a storm ball, but try a Roto Grip solid or pearl Sonic X.  Very cheap and rolls great.
