My friend has just bought a flash flood for heavy oil, but it does not seem to do much more to than his Razor Wire. It is still in box condition, without the second most aggresive layout on the drill sheet. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Sounds like it is burning up. Are you sure you're really on heavy oil?

A lot of guys had issues with the Fear Factor (same Monsoon Particle and grit).

99% of them came from them throwing on too light a pattern. A quick way to
check would be to put some polish on it and see what happens. If it backends better, that could be the issue. Another is it could be drilled to aggressive for the pattern based on rev rate, PAP, etc., Do you know what the shot is or any of your friends stats are? That'd help a ton....

Don't have any of Dave's stats to hand, but he bowled somewhere with a lot of oil last week, and the ball did the same amount as his Razor Wire and Charge.....nothing! Might try the polishing suggestion first, but will try to get some statistics to help shed some light.

Then there's pry not enough oil, meaning the flash flood is burning up!
