Need ball help
« on: March 06, 2007, 04:24:34 AM »
I'm, looking for a ball or two for nationals and one for sure will be a Special Agent, most likely pin down. If you have a Special Agent how is yours drilled. My other one is set up with pin high, just to the right of my ring finger. I also hit it with 4000 abralon to match up better with the lanes around here. I'm going to take my Double Agent as well, it's drilled stacked leverage, and I hit it with 2000 abralon as well. I have several other balls as well, so I have a variety of choices. I'm going to take 8 with me, since my doubles partner is driving, he is going to take my stuff out, so I don't have to ship anything.

What else do you recommit? I'm thinking about a Shift, but not sure yet.

I'm a tweener, with a ball speed of 15.6-16.2 mph (depending on the lanes). PAP is 5 1/4 - 1 1/4. I would like to post a video, but I'm still on the IR list for two weeks, but I will be getting one up. I'm actually going to take a tune up lesson or two before Reno.

I talked to my local Pro shop guy, he is heading out in April, so he will have some ideas as well when he gets back. He is drilling a SA, and maybe a NV for himself to take out. We have several friends bowling in the next month so we will be getting more lane reports when they get back. Any thoughts?

WOW, thank you very much for that review. VERY informative. I hope some of the other members find it useful as well.

I can't wait until next week when I can start bowling agan, the good thing is I don't have to bowl Reno until the end of my so I will be able to get some good time in on the lanes. There are a few houses in the area that put the national shot out, but only one of them is synthetic. I guess it's better at least try the shot a few times instead of heading in completely blind.
