Absolutely works well, as it deep cleans into the pores of the ball, while mostly leaving a slightly dullish looking finish. Very consistent ball cleaner.

$1 an oz (or more) are special occasion cleaners (or when get huge ass belt marks or when bust out my EPX T1) for me. I have found 91% rubbing alcohol (iso not denatured) works awesome at the lanes because it works nearly instantly to dissolve oil (dissolves it like butter) and don't have to wait around waiting for it to work and is so cheap can spray liberally without worry. Then when I get home and have time to wait I hit it will a solution of 1:1 simple green and water to get anything I might have missed with the alky (simple green a little better for dirt and belt mark dots its seems like). Works as well as the Monster Tac and is a hell of lot cheaper. Clean and dull is also darn expensive but a necessity. I tend to mostly use it when I do resurfaces every 20 games or so. The simple green and water is so cheap can use on the spinner for wet sanding as well.

There's also no such thing as a certain cleaner for any one particular ball, all cleaners will work for any ball, whatever you feel will work best for you.
