« on: December 18, 2008, 06:34:37 AM »
Had my first piece of non morich gear punched today(my first piece in a couple years anyway).  Drilled up a Virtual Gravity...drilled for a heavier oil ball, unfortunately, I havent had a any good conditions to throw it on yet, but im looking forward to it.

Are you sure that ball would be legal?  Just looks like the cg is offset alot and the placement of the weight hole doesn't look like it would bring the weight back to centergrip much. Hard to tell if the hole is angled though

Its legal.  Tom @ Mike Aulby's Arrowhead Bowl here in Lafayette, In has been drilling balls for a loooong time.  He got it all squared away.

Very similar to one of my VGs.  I wanted it for a longer oil pattern and lightly rubbed a 1000 ablaron pad across the track.  Too much ball for a lighter or shorter oil pattern.  After I get use to throwing my second VG with the pin below the ring finger and the CG kicked further right, I might take t back to 4000 or put a light coat of polish on it for a THS.
