I have been bowling with a storm superpower(I don't think they even make that one anymore) for about 10 months now and I want something better. Started off at about 135 now up to 165 looking to start averaging 200+. I'm taking all suggestions. Oh yeah I'm fairly new to leagues(2nd season)and I've found storm to be my brand of choice. med to heavy oil.
Thanks

Perhaps a Corepower HRG will get you more backend but still allow the ball to read the midlane and oil pattern.
The Reloaded will work well and so would the Boost with the proper drilling.
Lots of options...

Good choice Doug! Love the HRG!
Also, the Eraser Blaze is probably the strongest Storm Ball at the break point. This ball can be really snappy. Decent length too.

If you can find one, the El Nino Gold is a GREAT ball.
Look at bowlingballmall.com
I think they have some left.

I'd grab a Shock Trauma if I was you.
The superpower would b a smoother and better in the dry while the shock trauma will allow you to carry when the conditions open up.

Spin....the way to generate killer backend.

I am a big fan of my eraser particle pearl. It is great on anything but long heavy oil. On normal fresh house shots it clears the heads great and has plenty of punch on the back. And it seems to carry better than most storm pearls I have thrown.

Save your money and use it to practice your spare shooting. If your avg is 165, that's the quickest way to get to 200, NOT A NEW BALL! Have the Super Power re-surfaced; it's as good as any new ball out there for house shots.

i agree with charlest. don't spend 160 bucks on some high performance ball when you could spend 60 bucks on a spare ball. getting a spare ball was the smartest thing i have ever done in bowling, besides starting
