it was storm's answer to the ebonite V2. sadly the v2 had seen a longer life span than the tour power. seeked out by many tournament bowlers, and high rev rate players the ball offers a smooth transition from oil to dry. just smooth rolly ball motion.
the fact that it didn't have anything special is just what made it special. they took the simple concept of making a ball roll evenly through out the lane and give it a smooth resin cover. not an excessive amount of flare potential or a cover that grabbed really hard. the question many have asked was, why wasn't there a pearl version? well it just wouldn't have been the same.
simple idea that still works.
