New Diablo and Ragin Banshee
« on: August 15, 2005, 11:47:33 PM »
I am also a big lover of this new Reactor Coverstock.
I drilled my Banshee with a 4 1/2" Pin MB Strog with a small hole down. This ball picks up very nicely and still has a lot of pop on the backend for a mid price ball. Reminds a bit of the Ace in the heads but the midlane is more predictable and readable for me and not so erratic on the backend.
I thought the HotRod SS was going to be the Storm Sleeper of the season but it may be this ball. Both are great so far out of the box finishes. I used it on a 42' foot League Pattern on recently resurfaced wood. still reads on the misses inside in the wall of oil plaqued a couple 10's but carried most of the time and came roaring back on misses right and shredded the rack. Tried to get it to rollout but couldnt on this pattern.

The Diablo just flat out is a monster. I thought the Fired up was an awesome ball but this thing may be my first ball out the bag. Smooth transition, readable midlane and alot of hook potential and options. I could back off and go straighter or move inside and wheel the lane on the same pattern as above.
Drilled with a 4 1/2" pin up also and box surface large hole down. This ball reads the mids better than my atomic ever did and I loved that ball. But where the atomic had troublwe getting around the corner this ball doesn't.

Like I said I am really happy with this new coverstock and every ball Storm has put it in so far has been a real nice piece!
