Sounds fishy to me. You mean to tell me that someone shot 900 twice in a month, or however long it was. I have been a victim of the sanctioning rules, as a junior I shot 299 while pre-bowling and while the scores counted for the league, I received no awards from what was known as YABA back then, and this was in 1992 when it was still semi-rare for junior bowlers to shoot 299. I can almost see the beef with the first 900, but who is good enough at 17 to shoot 900 twice. Either the lanes or the ball are not legal, besides that if you are not a USBC member, you do not receive USBC awards, plain and simple.
