Victory Road - Drilled pin above bridge with cg slightly kicked out, no hole.
I have had the opportunity to throw this on old HPL (house shot), wood (house shot) and pro lane (last years Open Championship pattern).
This is one of my new favorite balls. The Victory Road picked up sooner than the Reign with the same motion down lane. For me, the Reign is skid/flippy and the Reign Supreme is midlane and really smooth down lane. The Victory Road was a combination of both.
I think the Victory Road is going to be a great bench mark ball that will be best used on medium to longer patterns such as the Open Championship, Chameleon, Viper and even Scorpion.
When looking for a pearl and the Anarchy is too much ball, the Victory Road is next out of my bag.
Marvel – Drilled pin above bridge, no hole.
The Marvel is the solid version of the Prodigy. As any solid would to a pearl, the Marvel does exactly as expected. It is earlier and smoother than the Prodigy.
I have only been able to use the Marvel a couple of times and it rolls really well. The Marvel is very smooth and great for fresh patterns. It needs some oil up front, but it allows me to control the back of the pattern when the lanes are freshly oiled.
The Marvel fits between my Invasion and Reign of Fire. It is actually smoother than both of those balls down lane.
