Maybe that's why they keep it around?    Really, what's wrong with it?  Track's been releasing variations on the Morpheus core for several years and I think it's the greatest thing since sliced bread.  Is there something wrong with Storm releasing balls with variations of the RAD or RAD3 core?  What would you like to see instead?

I agree that the naming system is getting old.  I though Triple Xtreme X-Factor was a bit of a stretch.

Chris...  Any info beyond just the names?

Are the sport balls remakes of the old clear versions?

Before you can jump on Storm you need to look at the dozens and dozens of zone names that little b has come out with.  What is that number up to now, 100 or more?/quote]

But Brunswick didn't have really silly names like Triple Xtreme Triple X-factor Ace Reloaded.  That sounds like a character in a bad Japanese cartoon.

Why is it that Storm likes to name their high performance equipment after movies and TV shows:

ReLoaded = Matrix "ReLoaded"
Fear Factor = Reality TV Show on NBC
Triple X = Movie with Vin Diesel

Now Trinity = Blade "Trinity"

Am I leaving any out?

I beg to differ.. The Zone names at least make some sense compared to the X-Factor names..

It's all about marketing.  Bowlers (scratch and handicap) associated Zone with a high performance ball.  I just plain worked.  There was no reason for them to stop using the name until it was "used up".  I would guess that we would continue to see the Inferno line for at least a few more years.  It's far from used up yet.

I can't believe you people care what the ball is called?

SO if we changed the name but the ball sucked that would be ok because it had a cool name then and you would have just wasted $200 on a piece of junk but would feel ok about your waste of money because it had a cool name?
