Those sound like international releases. They tend to twist names around on the same stuff for the overseas market.

The Roto piece might be overseas, but I'm pretty sure all the others will end up stateside... this was something I brought up after a recent Storm seminar.

id love too see storm come out with a real dry lane ball besides the natural. they keep bringing back forms of old balls i wouldnt mind seeing them try the flame reactive (bubblegum ball) or the Hit/ big hit.

Not as much as I would, but it's not going to happen. Balls are getting stronger and stronger, not weaker. Many of today's  "entry" level balls handle only medium oil unless you're speed dominant.  Hook is all people care about. "More hook" is the mantra and it's not going to change.

you guys dont think the breezes are dry lane balls? a simple symmetrical .009 differential core with the reactor cover? im almost positive a pancake has more diff than that

Cover is a few degrees too strong compared to 5+ years ago...

They look like good light/short oil pieces, but not bone dry for sure. That is a "real" core in the ball, not just a pancake. It may be a very, very low differential core, but the Reactor cover is top line stuff from 10 years ago. If memory serves me correctly, people were hooking the lanes with this same coverstock back then.

If "Bone Dry" why not throw plastic?

Because they need to only play with reactives with cores that will flip at 58 feet! Who needs to control the lane and throw a banana hook with plastic?

Id bet a significant amount cash that most people whining for dry lane balls refuse to tilt the ball and\or refuse to move their feet from the "big dot". Instead, they find it more suitable to complain about the strength of decade year old covers and NOT move their feet because they feel more comfortable literally throwing the ball up the dirt at 13 MPH and are totally baffled why their ball hooks.

what's wrong with the polar ice? weaker urethane weaker core.

I have a decent amount of hand and find myself playing up 5-6-7 with my Taboo Spare all the time. I would put it up against any urethane on the market as a better striking option when truly scorched.

Other than that I have a Breeze as someone mentioned. Great dry lane ball. Hits pretty hard too. Dont use it too much though as I will chase it left as long as I can and then switch to the Taboo.
