After 20 years of Brunswick gear, I just crossed over to the dark side.
I drilled a Marvel-S and a RotoGrip Wrecker. Both are laid out 45x5x70 p3 hole.
Is there a storm or roto ball that would go between them and act as benchmark piece?
Thinking Hyroad solid?

Cant go wrong with the IQ Tour..

Lots of options... from what I've thrown I'd recommend the Deranged or IQ Tour Pearl.

There are many options. I personally would lean to the Disturbed from RG if you like a more even rolling piece or Asylum if not. From what I have seen, the Deranged is pretty snappy, much like the Wrecker, only stronger.
From Storm, the HyRoad is still available (hybrid). But I would lean to the IQ series depending on what type of reaction you like. The pearl isn't as snappy as the Deranged or Wrecker and the solid is as good as it gets for control and would fit well below the Marvel S. And if you can't decide between the two, get the Fusion (closer to the pearl than the solid in reaction).

If you're truly looking for benchmark, I would agree with the Disturbed or IQ Tour solid. Those two balls are all about early read, strong roll, and control.

There is a reason the hy-road is still in existence!

Asylum with hesitation. One of the best rolling balls I've ever thrown

Decided to add IQ Tour Fusion with same layout.
