I just recieved a brand new Firepower(one of my favorites of all time) and a brand new Original Eraser(that I've yet to drill) but I am thinking about going with a standard label shift drill to give me some control in the midlanes yet some recovery down the lane when I have to move inside.
The Firepower has a 4 1/2 x 5 1/2 drill(looks label) and gets great length and is very smooth around the corner. Definately at home on medium patterns and doesn't like the long stuff(I guess because of the Cureylon II cover). The Eraser has Accu-Tread which is a stronger cover and a med-diff core so I'm thinking more recovery around the corner.
For some info on me I'm a higher rev, higher speed player(about 480-500rpms and a speed of 18-18.5mph, I use a two-handed release but that's not really a determining factor in what balls would fit in with these)
Of course I'm looking at a step up from the Firepower for the heavier side of mediums and a step down from the Eraser for the light stuff. I've thrown an Atomic Charge and it's a nice ball but very similar to the Track Slash I have already. I've tried and drilled lots of different companies equipment but I've been out of the loop on Storm for the past 2 or 3 years. Any opinions from you Storm experts would be appreciated.
