NEXT STEP UP FROM HOD ROD

I'm tring to decide what to add to my arsenal
I have a Hotrod and I'm looking for the next step up, I mean a ball to handle a little more oil. Here a few I have been considering. I sort of like a flippy ball reaction.
Power charge

silver streak pearl

Wrong, Lefty is right, both balls have Cureylon, check your source.

Are those three your only choices?  What about the Core Power LRG or Shock Trauma.  Both handle oil well, and don't hook as much as the X Factor Duece.

If you have access to some older balls, Trauma ER, Trauma Recovery, Ultra Hot, Eraser Boost, and Super Power could all be good choices.

If you are looking for a skid/flip reaction I would consider the Columbia Wicked's.  The original will go longer but will snap harder on the backend and the Wicked BRT will start up soon but will still hit hard on the backend.  One other ball I would recommend would be the Hammer Blade Pearl reaction is more like the Wicked BRT.  I have all 3 balls and my favorite is the Hammer.  Good midlane read, very forgiving and "nothing hits like a Hammer".

Just my opinion.......

KMAN,

After bowling with the new balls some more, I would go with the Eraser Particle.  It is a pretty good step up from a Hot Rod.  Drill it stronger than you did your Hot Rod.  This ball does roll up earlier than the Hot Rod, and it's particle, so don't be afraid to put some scotch brite to it.  Eraser hits very good.  

I think the Silver Streak Pearl, and I know the Power Charge Pearl are longer than the Hot Rod.  They are pearl resin.  Power Charge is very clean, I'm gonna drill another very soon.
