You could be missing a light oil ball, I don't think the Fired Up would cut it for light oil. Maybe a Street Rod Solid? Other than that I think your covered from heavy to light.

lol usually dont struggle too much unless its NY JBT shot's...

On the other hand I have not yet drilled up the pin under dimension and def look foward to geting it. As for a light oil ball i have a cherry vibe that goes pretty long and it doesnt get much use. I am considering a Razyr from Hammer to keep in the bag for the real dry stuff.

Yea I realy think your missing something for dry lanes.  The Fired up is good but from my experience with it, its to jumpy on the backend for dry lanes.  I would suggest a Tropical or something with a smooth arc but made for dry lanes.

surprisingly the fired up with the pin under layout is quite smooth and it clears the heads with ease.

Anyone try any differnt surfaces with there Thunderstrucks ? OOB seems to really get down the lane well but I kind of want a little more pick up in the mid lane i was thinking of hitting it with a scotch brite pad to get some of the polish off to really smooth it out

I agree with Storm Freak...go with a Street Rod Solid, I would drill it pin either above or below the middle finger. With that you can play in the dirt if the lanes fly. In those JBT's you may encounter scenarios where it becomes beneficial to have something on the weaker side. Especially with the longer formats.

I would suggest a Roto-Grip Neptune.  Its not Storm but close enough.  It works great on dry lanes.
