Just wondering how a NVD compares to a VG
they are both 4000 abralon. Does any body have any
experiance with both? Thinking of picking up a VG and trading my NVD.

i have these balls.
i drilled 5x4 (pin up and mb kicked right from thumb)
NVD = hook alot with better control from breakpoint, little less backend
VG = strongest ball ever seen and alot more backend than NVD.
VG is 5 boards stronger than my NVD !
I'll choose VG OOB (out of box) far away ! i buy since long time ebonite and now stick with Storm since i have VG and RapidFirePearl. Storm hit harder than before !

Hey thanks for your input, My pro shop guy says he has one VG left
I better hurry on in. Thanks again, Jaimie

Me personally, I would take the NVD. I haven't been impressed with the VG. I threw one and for me was no stronger than the NVD and it took a shine very quickly and lost that backend punch. I have also noticed the VG is more condition sensitive than the NVD. As long as there is head oil and enough room to move left the NVD still performs very well and retains energy.

I have both drilled the same The NVD is at 1k and VG is at 4k abralon, there is no comparison that the VG is stronger and flips harder off the spot.
The VG can get you into trouble with more splits from not getting lined up quick enough, it is so flipping angular it will fool you and hook an extra 2-3 boards even after moving in alittle.
Actually a toss up for which hits better no losing ball in this for you imo.

yes VG tend to be more flippy. NVD is very easy to play. I tried house shot with them and VG is harder to control. If you are sharpshooter, VG dont give you problem, else you will encounter some splits because VG flip hard.
from Heavy oil, VG handle better if you want to play INSIDE ! NVD is not for INSIDE of the lane. i tried every angle and NVD OOB dont have strong backend, but hook early.
i remind you, every ball are good, but the track path of each ball roll diffrently. You must choose which path you want to play (inside, track area, outside) and alter the coverstock if enough or not for hooking, backend, length, etc..

I've got a VG on the way and I already have an NVD which I love...just shot 300 with the NVD 2 weeks ago so I really can't wait to try out the VG to compare the 2...
