Observations on the Rad-x core
« on: November 17, 2016, 11:38:17 PM »
I thought it since it was originally released...the Rad-X looks like a filled in cataclyst (crux) core...and not a true rad weight block...

The Rad4 looks like a rad core....

I guess it's about the numbers....but sometimes it's not.

Was it just a name recognition thing to get sales or what...cuz wouldn't it technically be like a catalyst2 instead of a rad core...

Sorry guys..this is the sh!t I wonder about sometimes...

I appreciate the effort from stuff that was absolutely perfect like the Cell (original), it was a total effort... Nucleus core, cytoplasmic cover lol....just made sense.

In the bag [Infinite Physix, Volatility Torque, Night Road, Phaze III, Burner Solid, Hustle AU]
*Now Testing* IQ Ruby, Renevant, another IQ Tour solid

So SnapLock and Lock are crap, Code Black is legit. That the assumption? ;)

My PSO is doing a Black Friday deal. Code black $175 plus tax out the door. That's drilled and grips.

All I can say is both the Lock and Snap Lock match up with my game extremely well.  This "rad -x" core works for me.
There's two kinds of music METAL and bullshit!

Right on, not hating the cores guys. It just bugs me cuz it looks cruxy but it's called rad.  Lol just was wondering if anyone else noticed!!

Code Black..Hy-Road Pearl replacement in the bag possibly? As in, either/or and should cover about the same aspects.

Probably a stronger hyroad pearl with more off the spot. The assymtrical core will be a bigger factor I think in this ball due to the projection down lane from the cover.

Yeah, there's a huge difference between the two cores. They might have the same cover but I would expect them to have fairly different motions.

I love my Lock. Very reminiscent of the Virtual Gravity for me. It revs up and flips over but in a predictable and controllable fashion. Also relatively clean through the fronts when there is enough oil for it.
League: Pitch Purple, Destiny Magenta

How the fuck does this shop keep the doors open? Site unseen, I'd wager this is a sub standard shop.

Some Storm Asymmetrics ...

RAD Family
- RAD+ (2.49 RG / .047 Diff / .026 Int Diff)
- RAD4  (2.50 RG / .058 Diff / .020 Int Diff)
- RAD-X (2.48 RG / .054 Diff / .018 Int Diff)

Crux
- Catalyst (2.50 RG / .052 Diff / 0.017 Int Diff)

Gravity
- ShapeLock HD (2.48 RG / .052 Diff / .020 Int Diff)

A look at the RAD cores

RAD+

RAD4

RAD-X

After seeing the cores and core #'s, and first hand rolling them, there are traits and similarities I feel with the RAD-X Lock Core and the Crux/Gravity cores... they have the rolly feel. must be the lower RG's
Starting 5:

Crux Formula, Golden Gate, Super Idol, IQ Tour Rising, Pitch Red

They do hundreds of balls a year and the PSO is amazing. When other PSO's within a couple hours are confused on a drilling they call him. When people know you're good and you do a high volume already, you don't have to charge crazy prices. That was a special that required it being paid for by Black Friday as well. Regular price was around $225 plus tax out the door including all grips and slugs. So $50 off.

So you would lose that wager.
