It looks like Storm is getting ready to put the triple Xtreme on its website or should it be said they are trying at this time to add it. The ball was in BJI this month's issue.

The "Flash Flood"?

I'll need to remember to wear bright socks and short pants when using one.

The himacane series with pros names.  sounds like a great idea.  Remember the brunswick MVPs, Walter Ray, Parker, and Aulby.

I believe the dates i heard were after Bowl Expo at the end of June.
The Triple Xtreme and Hot Rod pro stock and the two Big Hits.

The Flash Flood and Recharge are mid summer releases.

The Extreme is apparently already out. A friend of a friend of mine had one a week ago and shot 7 something right out of the box.

Extreme and Hot Rod PS are out for staffers. Im not all that impressed with the Extreme. Stupid hook. Looks like it will be unusable for most during the oil-starved summer months.

Northface, have you thrown this ball yourself? If not, then don't be judging it by looks. (note-you only do that to women) This friend I mentioned above has both the Triple-X and the Extreme, and he said the Extreme is a way better ball and with him knowing that I was looking at buying the Triple-X, advised me to wait on the Extreme.

The XXXTreme and Pro stock are both out everywhere here.  The Pro Stock looks exactly like the Eraser Blaze.  XXX Extreme is super ugly.  Smells ok, not a big strawberry fan.  Besides the big hit particle is it possible storm will ever make a premium ball that's one color?

As for the extreme and hot rod pro being out everywhere...as far as I know the vip shops (i have mine) and staffers are the only people to have them. I was told by my pro shop that it will be 10 days before the release. As for the colors...not my favorite but who cares about color... I don't. I just prepared the surface of my extreme and will drill it tomorrow.  If anyone is interested I prepared the surface as follows. I took a worn grey scotchbrite pad and hit the ball on 6 sides, 15 seconds a side. Then I took alcohol and cleaned the ball. I got out my renew it and poured a little on top of the ball and rubbed it into the ball by hand. I let it hazed then run towel over it with the spinner on for 20 seconds. Rotated the ball 180° and repeated. The ball has a low shine...I just lightly polished it because the accutread cover polishes really easy.  The ball has a 3-1/8" pin from cg and the pin, cg, and rad are in a straight line. Starting top weight is 3.12 oz. (I plan on drilling it with the pin under fingers on bridge line and kick the cg out to the edge of ring finger). End up drilling it 4 X 3 with a 7/8" X 3" weight hole 6" across. Will do a review later.

UPDATE:  When my ball driller was drilling the extreme, we found the cover to be very brittle. You can tell this by looking at the chips from drilling into the coverstock. Also, make sure you drill slowly because when you are drilling it drills easy then you hit the hard disc in the ball. It will cause chatter if you are not careful.
